Embark on a journey back to prehistoric times and explore the incredible engravings and rock paintings of Djebel Bani mountain. After a bivouac in the dunes to experience this essential passage in the desert, you will set out in search of prehistoric remains preserved for thousands of years. You will then be welcomed to our guesthouse to enjoy the warm atmosphere of this family place. Our guide will lead you to discover the oasis of Zaouiat Sidi Abdenabi and its inhabitants

PROGRAM
Day 1: Foum Zguid - Erg El Mhazil, fixed bivouac
Departure from Foum Zguid by 4x4 towards the dunes of Erg El Mhazil for a night in bivouac in the hollow of the dunes, in the silence of the desert. These dunes are the wildest and quietest, far from the tourist passage. You can admire the sunset at the top of the dunes and share a traditional meal around the fire.
Day 2: Erg El Mhazil - Zaouiat Sidi Abdenabi - Guest house "The little house of Lake Iriki"
After a hearty breakfast, you will leave on the back of a dromedary (or on foot according to your wishes), for about 2 hours, to cross the plains of the dry lake of Iriki to our traditional guest house in pisé. We will arrive for lunch at the house where you will be welcomed for a relaxing break: mint tea, rest in the shade of acacia trees and dinner around the fire, carefully crafted by our cook. You will not tire of admiring the vast expanses of nature all around the house.
Day 3: Rock carvings - Guest house "The little house of Lake Iriki"
After breakfast, you will leave with our guide in the direction of the mountain of Djebel Bani for a hike of 1h30 to 2h. He will make you discover the paintings and rock engravings of this unprecedented place, a unique historical heritage in Morocco. You will be back for lunch at the guest house and enjoy an afternoon of rest, then our guide will take you on foot and present the oasis with a visit to the marabout’s tomb and the meeting of its inhabitants. A traditional dinner of fresh and local products will be served for a convivial evening.
Day 4: Guest house - Foum Zguid
You will enjoy a last breakfast before taking the 4x4 track towards Foum Zguid, the opportunity to admire the magnificent and varied landscapes throughout this journey.

The rate includes accommodation, full board, dromedary ride, 4x4 transport from Foum Zguid, visit to the village, hiking in the mountains.
