Departing from Foum Zguid, embark on a journey to discover the saltwater waterfalls near Tissint in a paradise-like setting. Explore the historical heritage of the region with our guide, who will then take you to see the prehistoric rock engravings located in this area.
The village of Tissint is located halfway between Foum Zguid and Tata. It is a typical small village with an old medina characterized by narrow covered alleyways. Tissint is known for its contrasting landscapes, with lush palm groves and surrounding desert plains, particularly famous for its saltwater waterfalls. That's where we are taking you!
Program:
After a morning departure from Foum Zguid, you will enjoy a refreshing and relaxing break at the crystal-clear waterfalls, where the water flows into different pools inviting you to take a swim. Described as a piece of paradise on Earth, we will have lunch in this enchanting setting, shaded by date palm trees and serenaded by the sound of the waterfalls.
In the afternoon, we will visit the nearby rock engravings. These traces left by prehistoric humans on the rocks are moving reminders of the past, depicting the fauna of that era as well as abstract symbols.
In the late afternoon, we will return to Foum Zguid and drop you off at your hotel, crossing the vast desert landscapes between Tissint and Foum Zguid.
