Trek in the valley of roses

This tour with hiking reveals the beauty of the Atlas mountains, in the valley of roses, and its hidden treasures accessible only to hikers. Discover typical villages where ancient architecture has been preserved, the way of life of the inhabitants in these valleys and their agriculture, live strong moments close to the local population.
PROGRAM
Day 1
Ouarzazate – Valley of the roses - Almdoune (340km)
Departure from Ouarzazate around 2pm towards the valley of roses to Kelaat M'Gouna, before arriving in Almdoune. Dinner and overnight in a cottage where you can start to enjoy the calm of nature.
Day 2, 3, 4
From Almdoune to Tabarkhachte, by Boutaghrar, Tourbiste and Hdida
Departure for the 1st day of trek. We will descend the valleys of oleanders and cross beautiful gorges, the valley of Elhout with its beautiful casbahs.
Then rose fields appear around the crops of cereals (barley, corn, potato.....). These rose gardens are used for the manufacture of rose-based products.
We will walk along the M'Goun river, from village to village, immersed in this Berber culture.
Every evening we will dine and sleep in cottage and shelters run by locals, with a warm welcome.
Day 5
Tabarkachte- Ouarzazate
After our breakfast, in this unforgettable valley, transfer to Ouarzazate
Daily walking time: about 5 hours
Level: intermediate, no great difference in altitude but you must have a regular physical activity
