Moroccan Desert Colorado - Zaouiat Sidi Abdenabi Village - Erg El Mhazil Dunes
Departure in the morning from your hotel in Foum Zguid by 4x4 by the track that leads us towards the mountains of Madouar El Kbir, also called the Colorado of the Moroccan desert because of the shape of these plateaux. Imposing massifs that stand out in the middle of vast plains, you will be impressed by the grandeur of these places. We will make a stop in the oasis of Laarjimia from where you can contemplate the mountains, enjoy the freshness under the date palms and cross some animals coming to drink at the well.
Then, we will take you to the village of Zaouiat Sidi Abdenabi where our team of nomads is native for a visit of the oasis and its food agriculture, the village and the tomb of Marabout Sidi Abdenabi. You can enjoy a lunch in our guest house, our family home next to the village, a place of relaxation and unusual in the desert.
Then, in the afternoon, we will leave by 4x4 towards the dunes of Erg El Mhazil. There, the Sahara desert reveals its first sand dunes, expanses that you can admire for a moment of serenity in front of nature. At the end of the day, we will return to your hotel in Foum Zguid. We will take the time to stop along the way to observe prehistoric fossils, vestiges of aquatic life from the past.
Price: €110 per person, based on a minimum of 2 people.
