The desert, to me, is a place of healing where time stands still. It offers a moment of respite from our often hectic lives and invites contemplation to reconnect with what truly matters.
Through Desert Foum Zguid, my goal is to share the beauty and secrets of this enchanting place, allowing you to experience unforgettable moments through the renowned hospitality that defines us. I also aim to introduce you to the nomadic way of life, rich in knowledge and traditions.
With years of experience as a guide and my deep understanding of the region, I can easily offer you various discoveries and engage with you in French, English, or Spanish."
Desert Foum Zguid is an agency based in Foum Zguid, located at the gateway to the desert. We are dedicated to providing meaningful stays that not only benefit you but also the local community, who are actively involved in this project. Our focus is on promoting ecotourism values by preserving the natural environment, including the dunes, oases, and the dry plains of Lake Iriki, while also fostering the preservation of traditional cultures. We emphasize the nomadic way of life, their history, and their knowledge, and we actively contribute to supporting local livelihoods by involving families who have been settled in the area for generations.

Our stays are designed to bring you closer to the nomadic life and allow you to explore the vast open spaces of southern Morocco in a safe manner. Whether you're traveling with family, as a couple, alone, or with friends, our offerings adapt to your needs, including camel rides, nights under the stars, visits to rock painting and engraving sites, fossil discoveries, and walks in the oasis of Zaouiat Sidi Abdenabi.
You can choose to stay in our traditional tent camp amidst the dunes or enjoy the comfort of my guest house, a restored ancestral family house reflecting local architectural traditions. There, you can savor evenings by the fire, witness breathtaking sunsets and sunrises over the expansive landscapes that surround the house.
For the more adventurous, we offer trekking experiences in wild and diverse terrains. With my experience, I will ensure to provide you with the most suitable options according to your level and offer guidance on preparing for your stay.
