PROGRAM :

Day 1: Foum Zguid - Zaouait Sidi Abdenabi - Guesthouse

In the early afternoon, we depart from Foum Zguid towards our guesthouse "La petite maison du lac Iriki", located 60km from Foum Zguid, traveling along the off-road track in a 4x4 vehicle. We cross the desert plains and make a stop at a site with numerous prehistoric fossils. Upon arrival at the house, you will be welcomed with a refreshing tea while admiring the sunset over the vast natural surroundings. Dinner will be served in the evening around the fire for a friendly evening of conversations about the nomadic way of life.

Day 2: Zaouiat Sidi Abdnenabi - Nomadic school - Erg Chegaga

You will have breakfast in the open-air lounge set up in front of the house. We then set out to visit the Zaouiat Sidi Abdenabi Oasis, located just a few minutes' walk away. Here, you will learn about the nomadic life in the village, their agriculture, the school, and the history of the village with a visit to the ksar.

We return to the house for a hearty and typical lunch made with fresh local products.

Afterward, we embark on a 4x4 journey towards Erg Chegaga, making a stop at the nomadic school to witness the education of desert children and engage in interactions with them. It is a powerful moment of encounters and sharing.

Upon reaching the Erg Chegaga camp, you will enjoy a camel ride at sunset, an exceptional experience. You can admire the highest dunes in Morocco, providing moments of relaxation and contemplation in the desert.

In the evening, you will savor a meal around the fire or in the tented restaurant, followed by a musical evening shared with the team, gazing at the stars. You will sleep under the large traditional tents, surrounded by the silence and serenity of the desert.

Day 3: Erg Chegaga - Dried Lake Iriki - Foum Zguid

The following day, you can witness the sunrise from the top of the dunes, a magical moment with vibrant colors. Take the time to walk around, spot camels roaming freely in the dunes, and behold the vastness of the desert from the highest point.

Afterward, we begin the return journey in the 4x4 vehicle back to Foum Zguid, crossing the plains of the dried-up Lake Iriki and various landscapes, making stops to capture photos of the magnificent panoramas. You will return with memories of splendid landscapes and a heart full of beautiful encounters.
