Departing from Foum Zguid, you will embark on an exploration of the largest dune massif in Morocco: Erg Chegaga. You will be fascinated by the vastness of these dunes, reaching heights of nearly 300 meters, creating a wild and magical setting far away from tourist crowds. You can access Erg Chegaga by 4x4 vehicle, on foot, or on a camel ride for a night in a desert camp, experiencing an authentic atmosphere and warm hospitality from our nomadic guides.
PROGRAM
Day 1: Foum Zguid - Erg Chegaga
Departure from Foum Zguid in a 4x4 vehicle towards Erg Chegaga, with a 2.5-hour journey on the track by the dried lake Iriki. Upon arrival, you will continue your journey on camelback towards the dunes to admire the magnificent sunset over the desert. A delicious local dinner will be served around the campfire for a pleasant evening. The starry sky will unfold before you, setting the stage for a peaceful and serene night under the nomadic tents.

Day 2: Erg Chegaga - Foum Zguid
Wake up early to witness the sunrise and soak up its energy while enjoying a breakfast.
Afterward, we will embark on the journey back to Foum Zguid in a 4x4 vehicle, taking in the diverse landscapes offered by the desert and the plains of the dried lake of Iriki. From the rocky desert to the ancient table mountains that have stood for thousands of years, you will be captivated by the ever-changing scenery.
