The desert from Ouarzazate

From Ouarzazate, explore the vast and wild desert for 1 night in the heart of the dunes in a comfortable bivouac far from everything.
Day 1: Ouarzazate – Foum Zguid – desert
In the morning at 10am we pick you up from your hotel in Ouarzazate towards the desert. It takes a 2h30 drive passing through the city of Tazenakht known for its artisanal carpet production and along the road follow small typical villages.
You will arrive in Foum Zguid where you can have lunch, choose the chèche that will transform you into a true nomad and protect you from the sun, the wind and the sand or just observe the comings and goings of the 4x4 towards the desert. Then, in the afternoon, we take the track to our bivouac in the heart of the dunes. The stony track accessible only by 4x4 crosses vast landscapes, from mountains in the shape of plateaus to the plains of the dry lake of Iriki.
We will therefore arrive quietly at the Erg El Mhazil, in the late afternoon. You can enjoy the sunset on the top of the dunes during a camel ride then savor a delicious meal prepared by our cook. Our bivouac is located in a really quiet place and far from everything, the perfect place to appreciate the true calm of the desert. At night you will sleep under the big tents where a comfortable bed awaits you.
Day 2: Desert - Foum Zguid - Ouarzazate
After breakfast, we take the road to Ouarzazate by crossing again the national park of Iriki until Foum Zguid then by Tazenakht. You can have lunch on the way at Foum Zguid or Tazenakht (not included). You will arrive in Ouarzazate in the afternoon where we drive you to your hotel.
